Well it's two days before I leave America for the beautiful land of Florence, Italy. Caitlin (my roommate) and I will be flying out of O'Hare at 10pm on September, and will arrive in Florence September 2nd around 5pm.
I have finished packing for the most part, and have all my documents ready to go (I think!!) HOpefully my suitcases are not over 50 pounds each.
Last weekend I got to visit St. Norberts for one last time before I go abroad. It was nice to see my friends that will be staying there this semester, but also hard to say goodbye to them for over four months. I started to feel upset about all the things I will be missing (apple picking, dances, thanksgiving etc), but am very excited for the new things I will get to participate in while I am abroad.
Caitlin and I have a mandatory field trip to Rome in November and we hope to travel all aroud Italy. I also am planning on going to London for my fall break. I have friends in London, Spain, Germany and family in Germany, so I hope to visit those friends as well as travel to other countries while I am there.
So this will probably be my last post before I go to Italy, but I will keep everyone updated while I am there. Until then, talk to you all later!
Goodbye America, hello Italy!!
Amy-
